Robin Beck - Biography
Robin Beck is an artist based in Sheffield. Originally from Birmingham, Robin found himself in Sheffield after a slightly misguided decision to study Law at The University of Sheffield and has been there ever since.
After graduation and bored of the general direction of his life, Robin rediscovered his childhood passion for drawing and started drawing posters for his friends gigs and parties. In 2006, and largely because no-one else wanted to do it, he started drawing the posters for Club Pony, which have subsequently become his trademark.
Robin Beck is influenced by Terry Richardson, the comic books of his youth, style and fashion magazines, Peter Blake, David Hockney, Michel Gondry, Wes Anderson and his love for music and partying.
One day he plans to grow up.
